You get home from a long day at work and turn on the TV. It’s been a long week, so you think to yourself- maybe i’ll take the family to a movie on Saturday. Maybe we’ll even go on a vacation soon! We could visit museums and go to plays and see all sorts of fun attractions.
When you turned the TV on, nothing happened. There are no actors to entertain you.
When you went to the movie theater, nothing was showing. There were no advertisements to tell you that anything was showing, so you went to the theater to find out. Nothing playing. There is no one to film and create movies for you. Well at least your vacation will be fun, right? Not like there will be any plays to see and there won’t be anything in the art museums.
Well at least you have the shack you are living in that you made out of cardboard and sheets.
Not like you could find an architect to build you a house with all the money you’re making as an engineer.fucking idiots

i find patience a very attractive quality
i dont see patience as waiting in a boring manner, i see it as somebody expecting something and waiting willingly, therefore patience to me is super respectful to somebodys time and other plans
but it also shows that you want something so bad that its worth the wait.

Think about the word “drink” : what does “drink” mean? Do you think that people would ever figure, “Oh, he wants people to no longer take any beverage, or any liquids of any sort”? But when the word “fuck” comes in, they cannot understand it the same way. That just blew my mind. What I was clearly discussing was abusive quest oriented, manipulative sex. People who were not interested in other people’s feelings, but only in getting off. I saw as a teenager that peoples energies were so squarely caught up in getting laid that a lot of pain and and hurt came out of it. I knew women who were raped by people who did not care for anything other than getting off. And I just thought that this kind of obsession was not healthy….
I thought I’d speak out against it, and I got a rise out of a lot of people. I am pro-sex, I certainly have no problem with sex between people who want to have sex. But I felt that so much energy in our scene was spent on selfish aims…
